DEKA.....What is it?
DEKA (Latin for 10) Within DEKA there are 10 functional fitness zones suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, Regardless If you are a more advanced athlete or just starting out on your fitness journey DEKA will challenge everyone to there limit!
DEKA is the ultimate test of strength, endurance, grit and determination!
Don't panic though... within your DEKA training sessions here at CFS we will not be doing a full STRONG or MILE every session. We will be doing HIIT (high intensity interval training) style workouts in the form of the following examples pictured, It's a great way of training to become fitter and ready to take on a DEKA strong or mile!
DEKA includes standardised fitness tests / challenges designed to push your limits and celebrate your progress - see below!
STRONG = 10 functional zones
MILE = 10 functional zones with 160 metres of running between each zone.
